From single-camera interviews to four-camera formats
Most corporate and promo work needs one camera and one good operator. Formats, panels and as-live events need more bodies and a plan for cutting between them. We crew both, and we will tell you which one your budget actually needs.
| Role | Day rate (indicative) |
|---|---|
| Camera operator | from £450/day +VAT |
| Director of photography | from £575/day +VAT |
| Owner-operator with kit | Quoted per package |

Booked with the room
Camera crew booked alongside studio hire arrive knowing the grid, the cove and where the tea is. That first hour you usually lose to orientation goes back into the schedule.
Ready when you are
Availability and a firm quote, usually same day. No pressure, no hard sell.
Questions we get asked
Do your operators bring their own cameras?
Many do, and owner-operator packages are often the best value. The studio also carries BlackMagic Studio Pro and Sony EX3 bodies for multi-camera work.
Can you crew a multi-camera shoot?
Yes. Chat shows, panels and live streams here regularly run three or more cameras with a vision mixer. We crew the lot.
What is the difference between a DoP and an operator?
The DoP designs the photography: lighting, lensing, movement. Operators execute the frame. Small jobs combine the roles; bigger jobs separate them. We will tell you honestly which your job needs.
