What the city cannot give you
Brighton and Hove hold the biggest creative community on the south coast, and its studios are good at what city studios are good at. What the city cannot easily offer is space: a full-size drive-in cove, a rain rig, blackout you can trust and parking that does not start with a permit app.
That is the trade we offer. Just over an hour west along the A27, straight run, no town centre at either end, and you load in at ground level with the van outside the door. The day rate stays regional while the kit list reads like a much bigger facility.
Photographers and directors from Brighton, Hove, Worthing and Shoreham use the barn for the jobs the city cannot hold: cars on the cove, rain sequences, full-blackout music videos and multi-set content days.
What Brighton crews actually book
Three jobs come over the hill more than any other. Cars, because the cove has drive-in doors and a floor that takes weight, and there is nowhere in the city you can put a vehicle on white. Rain, because the rig is one of very few in the South and it needs a building nobody minds getting wet. And full-blackout music video, because a barn on a rural site does not have neighbours to annoy at eleven at night.
After that it is the ordinary work that simply needs room: multi-set content days, product runs on the cove, and presenter pieces on the green screen when a keyable background beats a dressed one.
The drive, honestly
It is the A27 the whole way, Brighton past Worthing and Arundel to the junction near Chichester, just over an hour, and about 45 minutes from Worthing. No town centre at either end, fifteen parking spaces at the door and ground-level load-in, which is the part that actually saves the time. Half-day cove hire is £295+VAT, a regional rate rather than a Brighton one.

An hour on one road is shorter than it sounds
It is one road. The A27 runs from Brighton past Worthing and Arundel to our junction near Chichester, and against loading restrictions, parking apps and a city-centre get-in, the drive usually wins on total time as well as on nerves. Crews from further east make it work too: the same road carries on to Lewes and Eastbourne.
