Built by our carpenter, not a container
Every prop house sells flats and plinths. What none of them can say is that yours was cut and framed by a named carpenter in a 16th-century barn near Chichester, on the same floor our own shoots are dressed.
Made to order is not a wait, it is the point: cut & framed, sprayed & finished, on your set. The lead time against each product is the honest number, and the piece turns up built to match the rest of your build.
Then we build it to your brief
The range covers the pieces that come up again and again. The rest of the time, productions need something specific: a full period interior, a branded hero piece, a set built to a drawing. That is exactly what the workshop is for.
Send a reference image, rough dimensions and your shoot dates, and we come back with a build quote, a schedule and, if you need it, the stage to shoot it on.
Need the space as well as the set?
The Woodshop and the studio are two halves of the same building. Buy the set pieces here, or hire one of the four spaces and have us build and dress it for you. Agencies delivering for their own clients can do all of it white-label.

Questions we get asked
Is this the same company as the studio?
Yes. The Woodshop is Granary Digital's carpentry range, built in the same barn near Chichester by our own carpenter. Hire the studio, or buy the set pieces that go in one.
Is everything made to order?
Yes. There is no warehouse stock. Each piece is cut, framed, sprayed and finished to order, with a real lead time shown against every product, so you know the date before you commit.
Can you build something bespoke?
That is half of what the workshop does. If the range does not have what your set needs, we build it to brief. See our set building service, or send the brief through the Woodshop's bespoke enquiry.
Are prices ex-VAT?
Yes, prices in the Woodshop are shown ex-VAT, the way production buyers budget. VAT is added at checkout.
Do you offer trade accounts?
Yes. Production companies, agencies and hire firms ordering regularly can set up a trade account for agreed terms.
Where do you deliver?
UK-wide, with pallet delivery for larger pieces and collection from the barn near Chichester if you would rather. Delivery is quoted by size and destination at checkout.
