The same barn and crew, briefed for your sector

Ten sectors we make video, podcasts and photography for, what each one usually needs, and where most start. Schools, law firms and the motor trade have pages of their own.

In short: Granary Digital makes video, podcasts and photography for businesses from a studio near Chichester, West Sussex. The sectors we are asked about most are estate agents, private healthcare, recruitment, financial advice, vets, hospitality, e-commerce, marine, property development and charities. Most start with Content in a Day at £1,395+VAT or a Brand Content Day from £2,950+VAT.

Estate agents and property

Sellers tend to instruct the agent whose name they already know. A monthly local-market podcast gets your negotiators' voices in front of them for half an hour at a time: what prices are doing in your patch, why sales stall at the searches, what the local plan means for the next street over.

One recording day in the podcast room can bank two episodes and a month of short clips. The cove is next door, so the team's headshots and a few to-camera applicant updates come off the same visit.

Where most start: Content in a Day, £1,395+VAT for the pilot. Classic episodes are £395+VAT each after that.

Private healthcare: GPs, dentists and physios

Patients book the clinician they feel they have already met. Meet-the-clinician films, treatment explainers and short patient Q&A clips let someone get to know you at eleven at night, before they pick up the phone.

The barn is private, so clinicians and patients can be filmed without a waiting room behind them. Anything that has to be said word for word goes on the autocue in the Green Space, and scripts go through your own clinical sign-off before anyone is filmed.

Where most start: Content in a Day from £1,395+VAT. Most practices then book a Brand Content Day each quarter, from £2,950+VAT.

Recruitment and HR

Every candidate looks you up before the interview. Culture films, employee stories and a sector podcast give them something real to find, and give your recruiters a link worth sending.

A Brand Content Day is planned against your hiring calendar by a social media manager: interviews on the cove in the morning, team headshots after lunch, then a podcast session and vertical clips before everyone goes home.

Where most start: Brand Content Day from £2,950+VAT.

Financial advisers and accountants

Advice firms need content that is plain English and exactly what compliance approved. Scripts are agreed through your compliance process first, then read from the autocue in the Green Space, so the words on film are the words that were signed off.

A client-question podcast does the warmer work: the questions people ask in a first meeting, answered by the advisers they would be meeting.

Where most start: Content in a Day, £1,395+VAT. Firms publishing every month usually move to a quarterly Brand Content Day from £2,950+VAT.

Vets

A pet-health podcast gives owners answers they can trust between appointments, from the vets they already see. The calendar writes half the episodes for you: fireworks and anxious dogs, summer heat, ticks, and the Christmas food that ends in an emergency appointment.

The cheapest way in is a solo or two-vet session in the podcast room, with an engineer and two-camera video.

Where most start: Solo sessions from £108 an hour +VAT. A full pilot day with headshots and clips is £1,395+VAT.

Hotels, vineyards and breweries

People book the place they can almost taste. Food and drink shoot best under controlled light, so the plates and bottles come to the cove, and the rooms, the views and the people behind the bar are filmed at your venue.

A Brand Content Day is planned around your season, from a new menu to the wedding open days, and comes back as stills, films and vertical clips ready to post.

Where most start: Brand Content Day from £2,950+VAT.

E-commerce and product brands

For product brands the problem is volume. Every SKU needs clean listing stills, the ads need lifestyle video and the socials need verticals.

A quarterly content day on the 5.3m by 7.1m cove covers all of it in one visit, planned SKU by SKU against your channels, with a 1m turntable for spins and parking at the door for the stock run. There is no subscription and no retainer.

Where most start: Brand Content Day from £2,950+VAT, booked when you need it.

Marine and sailing

Boat builders, brokers, sailing schools and chandleries around Chichester Harbour and the Solent tend to arrive with a van full of kit. The barn is a few miles from the harbour, with ground-level load-in and fifteen parking spaces.

Clothing, kit and interviews are shot dry on the cove. The pontoon, the yard and the water are filmed on location.

Where most start: Content in a Day, £1,395+VAT. On-water and multi-site days move to a Brand Content Day from £2,950+VAT.

Property developers

Off-plan buyers commit to what they can see. A launch film, progress films through the build and content for the sales suite keep a scheme selling before the scaffolding comes down.

Filming happens on site. Interviews with the architect, the site manager or the sales team can come to the barn, where the sound and the light don't depend on the weather.

Where most start: Signature Production from £4,950+VAT for the launch film, with progress visits priced per visit after that.

Charities and arts organisations

Fundraising works when people meet the person behind the appeal. We film those stories carefully, on the cove or in the podcast room, and cut them for the appeal page, the trustees' report and social.

Plans are sized to third-sector budgets and start with what the appeal needs.

Where most start: Content in a Day from £1,395+VAT. Podcast sessions from £108 an hour +VAT.
