These are our standard rates. They are indicative because a real quote depends on crew, kit, dates and how long the shoot runs — but nothing here is a teaser. Spaces are booked in blocks, not by the hour, because lighting and resets take time and nobody good ever finished a real shoot in two hours. Ask for a firm quote and you will usually have it the same day.

The White Space full day buys six more hours than the half day for £100 — if the shot list runs past lunch, the full day is the only rational booking. Podcast packages (Solo, Classic, Deluxe, with an engineer) are priced separately at podcast.granary.digital.

What's included with every hire
House incandescent and LED lighting on the 8-bar grid with 42 DMX dimming channels, grip (C-stands, flags, bounce, apple boxes, a 1m turntable), the client viewing area, dressing room, fibre internet, fifteen parking spaces and decent coffee. You are not billed in separate lines for the C-stands.
Common add-ons
- Rain rig (one of very few in the South of England) — quoted per production; water management and setup need planning.
- Specialist fixtures and kit to hire — BlackMagic Studio Pro, Sony EX3, Godox SK400 II, Arri L3-C, Arri 2k Fresnel, Kino Flo 4ft 4-Bank, 85cm octobox, flash strips, LED tape, low fogger, industrial fan.
- Set building — quoted per build; see set building.
- Event AV on location across the South of England — see event AV production.

Questions we get asked
Are your rates plus VAT?
Yes. Every price on this card is plus VAT at the prevailing rate, like every studio's rates. Budget accordingly.
Do you charge by the hour?
The Green Space and Grain Hopper can be taken hourly, but the White Space cove is booked as a half day (4 hours) or full day (10 hours). Serious shoots book in blocks because lighting and resets take time.
What does the rain rig cost?
It is quoted per production rather than listed, because setup and water management need planning. Tell us the shot and we will price it.
Is crew included in the room hire?
No. The room hire includes the house lighting rig and grip; crew (gaffer, DoP, camera, sound, editor) are booked on top at the day rates above.
