Get a quote See the packageIn short: Granary Digital is a drive-in car studio near Chichester for the motor trade: dealers, detailers and restorers shoot stock films, reveals and content on a lit infinity-cove stage year round. Cove hire from £295+VAT a half day; produced content days from £2,950+VAT.
Goodwood weeks sell out. The other 48 weeks are yours.
Twice a year this corner of Sussex fills with the best cars in the world, and our stage fills with them. The rest of the year, the same stage, the same lighting and the same drive-in doors are available to the trade, and that is where the repeatable business is.
For a dealer, studio stock content changes the maths on premium metal. The same car photographed on a lit stage instead of a wet forecourt reads a class up, holds margin better and travels further online. For restorers and detailers, the before-and-after is the product, and a controlled stage is the only place it photographs honestly.
Cars come through the double doors straight onto the cove, ground level all the way. Book the stage dry with your own photographer, or have our team shoot and edit the lot.
What the trade shoots here
Same stage as the Goodwood sessions, working weeks instead.

Dealer stock & handovers
Walkaround films and stills for the premium end of the stock list, plus handover films customers actually share. Batch three or four cars into a day and the unit cost gets sensible.

Restoration stories
The reveal is the payoff, and it deserves better than the workshop floor. Editorial-grade stills and film of finished builds, and staged progress content that keeps commission clients patient and proud.

Detailing & trade content
Paint correction and coatings only show under controlled light, which is exactly what the grid provides. Content that proves the finish, for the detailer's feed and the customer's invoice.
Studio light on proper metal.
How it works
1. Brief call
Twenty minutes on what you do, who you want to reach and what the content is for. Free, and useful even if you never book.
2. The plan
We map a shot list and a running order to your calendar, so the day is booked against real posts and real campaigns.
3. The day
You and your people come to the barn. We direct, film and photograph the lot. Most clients say it is the easiest shoot they have done.
4. Edit & deliver
Cut, graded, captioned and sized per platform, delivered through a shared gallery ready to publish.

Questions we get asked
What size vehicle fits?
Standard road-car widths come through the double doors and onto the cove. Vans and anything oversized: send dimensions and we will confirm before you book. Details on the vehicle shoots page.
Can we batch several cars in one day?
Yes, and it is the right way to buy it. With a plan agreed in advance, a full day comfortably covers several cars for stills and walkaround film, which is what makes studio content viable for stock rather than just the flagship.
Do you edit dealer films to a template?
If you want volume, yes: an agreed format for walkarounds means each car drops into a consistent edit quickly and cheaply. Hero cars get the full treatment.
Is the studio really drive-in?
Yes, ground level from the car park through double doors onto the stage. No ramps, no push-starts, and room to detail the car before it rolls on.
What does it cost?
Dry hire of the cove is £295+VAT for a half day, £395 for a full day. A produced Content Day with our crew and full edit is from £2,950+VAT, quoted per batch.
