In short: Granary Digital produces explainer video and podcasts for financial advisers and accountants at a studio near Chichester. Scripts are agreed with your compliance process before filming, recorded to the approved wording on autocue, and edited for web and social. Half days from £1,250+VAT.

People buy advice from people they trust on sight

An adviser's real product is confidence. Before a prospect books the first meeting they want to know one thing: is this someone I can sit across a table from and talk about money with? Two minutes of video answers that faster than any brochure, and it answers it before your competitors get the phone call.

The same is true for the questions. What happens to my pension if I change jobs? When does the tax year actually matter to me? Should I be worried about this month's headlines? Your clients ask these on repeat. A library of short, plain-English answers, in your advisers' own voices, works around the clock.

The word compliance comes up in every first call, so here is how we handle it: nothing is improvised. Scripts go through your existing approval process first, the autocue keeps the recording to the approved word, and your team signs off the final edit. Then it goes live and stays useful for years.

What a financial firm publishes

Built to earn trust slowly and steadily, which is how trust works.

01The autocue and green screen setup in the studio

Plain-English explainers

Two-minute answers to the questions every client asks, filmed on autocue so the wording is exactly what compliance approved. A library that grows each quarter.

02Two people recording a discussion in the podcast suite

The client-question podcast

A monthly conversation between your advisers, taking real (anonymised) client questions. Warmer than a newsletter, and every episode becomes clips for LinkedIn.

Adviser profiles & headshots

The face on the website is the face in the first meeting. Consistent, current portraits and short profile films for every adviser, done in the same visit.

A client-question conversation, recorded properly.

How it works

1. Brief call

Twenty minutes on what you do, who you want to reach and what the content is for. Free, and useful even if you never book.

2. The plan

We map a shot list and a running order to your calendar, so the day is booked against real posts and real campaigns.

3. The day

You and your people come to the barn. We direct, film and photograph the lot. Most clients say it is the easiest shoot they have done.

4. Edit & deliver

Cut, graded, captioned and sized per platform, delivered through a shared gallery ready to publish.

Questions we get asked

How does compliance sign-off work?

Your process stays in charge. Scripts are approved before the shoot, the autocue keeps recording to the approved wording, and the final edit goes back to your team before anything is published. Nothing goes out that you have not signed.

Can we talk about performance or products?

That is between you and your regulator, and your compliance team sets the boundaries. In practice the content that wins clients is educational: how things work, what to think about, when to get advice. It rarely needs to go near a product claim.

Why would an accountant need video?

Because referrals now get checked online before anyone calls. A partner explaining Making Tax Digital in ninety seconds, or what to bring to a year-end meeting, turns a name someone heard at dinner into a firm they feel they know.

Is a podcast really appropriate for an IFA?

Some of the most durable client-retention content in financial services is exactly this. It is not hype, it is a calm monthly conversation clients can listen to in the car. Guests like solicitors and estate agents also widen your referral network, which is often worth more than the audience.

What does it cost?

From £1,250+VAT for a half-day explainer shoot, from £2,950+VAT for a full Content Day, and podcast sessions from £69/hour. Quoted per brief, before you commit.
