In short: Granary Digital produces pet-health podcasts for veterinary practices at a studio near Chichester. We plan the series with your vets, record with an engineer, edit each episode and cut clips for social. Solo sessions from £39/hour; a full pilot day is £1,195 all in.

Pet owners are the most loyal audience on the internet

Nobody skips content about their own dog. Pet owners search constantly, worry cheerfully and share everything, and most of what they find is written by nobody in particular for nowhere in particular. A show made by the actual vets at the actual practice down the road is a different thing entirely.

Twenty minutes a month on fleas in a wet Sussex spring, what chocolate actually does, when a limp is worth a visit, what happens in a dental. Your vets answer these every day in consults. Recorded once, the answers work for every owner on your books and every new family that moves to the area.

There is a quieter benefit too. Owners who arrive already understanding the basics make for calmer consults and fewer 6pm panic calls. The podcast is client education that people choose to listen to.

What the series covers

Planned with your clinical team, so it is right as well as likeable.

01A vet recording a solo episode

Ask the vet

A monthly episode taking the questions your reception hears every week. One vet, or two in conversation, with an engineer running the session so nobody has to think about the kit.

02An interview recording across the studio table

Seasonal specials

Adder season, harvest mites, fireworks night, Christmas foods. Timed to publish when owners are already worrying, which is when they search.

03A team portrait on the studio cove

Clips, headshots & practice films

Each episode becomes captioned clips for the practice's social pages, and the cove next door handles team headshots and a practice welcome film in the same visit.

The pet-health show, with a co-host.

How it works

1. Brief call

Twenty minutes on what you do, who you want to reach and what the content is for. Free, and useful even if you never book.

2. The plan

We map a shot list and a running order to your calendar, so the day is booked against real posts and real campaigns.

3. The day

You and your people come to the barn. We direct, film and photograph the lot. Most clients say it is the easiest shoot they have done.

4. Edit & deliver

Cut, graded, captioned and sized per platform, delivered through a shared gallery ready to publish.

Questions we get asked

Will anyone really listen to a vet's podcast?

The clips do the reaching: short, useful answers on the practice's social pages, where local owners already are. The full episodes serve your existing clients, and both make yours the practice people feel they know when they get a new puppy.

Our vets are busy. How much time does this take?

One visit can bank two or three episodes. With questions agreed in advance and an engineer running the session, a vet's actual commitment is a morning every couple of months.

Can we talk about clinical topics safely?

Your clinical team owns the content. The format that works is general education plus a consistent 'if in doubt, call us', which is also the honest answer. You approve every episode before it goes out.

What does it cost?

Solo sessions from £39/hour with an engineer. The pilot day, with a fully edited episode, ten headshots and six clips, is £1,195 all in. Ongoing series pricing depends on frequency and is quoted per brief.

Could this work as video for the practice website too?

Yes, every session is filmed in 4K, so episodes work on YouTube and the website as well as audio platforms. Add the cove next door for headshots and a welcome film in the same visit.
